Orange Diamond Goby (Valenciennea puellaris)

Another committed sand processor, the Orange Diamond Goby spends its waking hours taking mouthfuls of substrate, screening it for anything edible through fine gill rakers, and spitting the rest back out clean, a slow, steady habit that keeps a sand bed from turning into a detritus trap. The fine orange dusting across its body is a nice bonus on top of the free maintenance work.
