A quieter, purple-tinted member of the sand-sifting goby crowd, spending its day working mouthfuls of substrate through its gills for anything edible and leaving cleaner sand behind. Understated coloring, straightforward care, and a genuinely useful habit, hard to ask for more from a small reef fish.
