Red New Guinea Rainbowfish (Glossolepis incisus) (Pair)
Glossolepis incisus develops a genuinely dramatic transformation with age, mature males redden deeply and grow a distinct humpbacked profile behind the head that juveniles don't show at all, one of the more visible maturation changes in the whole rainbowfish family. Sold here as a pair to get that development started together. Peaceful and active, best kept in a real school in a larger community tank where that deepening red and changing body shape become the visual anchor.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful, shoaling · Max size: ~4.5" · Min tank: 30 gal · Diet: Omnivore, flake/pellet
