Redtail Tinfoil Barb (Barbonymus schwanenfeldii)

Same Barbonymus schwanenfeldii biology as the gold line, a big-river cyprinid that grows well past a foot and needs serious tank space as an adult, just carried on the classic shimmering silver base color with the same bold red tail accent. It's a fast grower too, sizing up quicker than most hobbyists expect from a fish sold small. Peaceful and active, but plan the tank around where it's headed, not where it starts.
