The Seachem African Rift Lake line provides targeted water chemistry adjustment for the distinct needs of different rift lake cichlid biotopes. Each product replicates the specific mineral profile of its target lake, giving you the tools to create authentic biotope conditions rather than just "hard water."

• Cichlid Lake Salt (250g) — A blend of salts that replicates the mineral content found naturally in African Rift Lake water. Provides sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium at ratios that support cichlid health and breeding behavior. Raises GH without affecting KH or pH.
• Malawi/Victoria Buffer (300g) — Raises and stabilizes pH to 7.8–8.5 to replicate the conditions of Lake Malawi and Lake Victoria. Unlike pH products based on baking soda, this buffer is specifically formulated to maintain stable pH in the long term.
• Tanganyika Buffer (250g) — Raises and stabilizes pH to 9.0–9.5, recreating the extreme alkalinity of Lake Tanganyika for species like Frontosa, shell-dwellers, and Tropheus.
