Seachem Flourite Black Sand is a stable, porous clay-gravel substrate specially fused for the natural planted aquarium. It is most effective when used alone as an integral substrate bed, but may be mixed with other gravels. Flourite Black Sand is not chemically coated or treated, and it will not alter the pH of your water. Its rich black color creates a dramatic visual contrast with green plant foliage and provides an ideal rooting medium for root-feeding aquatic plants. Flourite is good for the life of the aquarium and need not be replaced.
