The Seachem Glass pH Checker is a continuous, color-based CO2 monitor that hangs inside the aquarium and provides a real-time visual indication of CO2 levels through a color change in the indicator solution. Fill the device with aquarium water and a pH reagent solution; CO2 dissolved in the water diffuses through the glass membrane and shifts the indicator color from blue (low CO2) through green (ideal CO2) to yellow (excess CO2). This passive, no-power-required method gives you ongoing CO2 saturation status without attaching probes or running cables. The borosilicate glass construction resists algae adhesion better than plastic alternatives.
