Unlike conventional HOB filters that draw water from mid-column, the Tidal's intake pipe reaches all the way to the bottom of the aquarium, circulating the densest, waste-laden water where it accumulates most. A surface skimmer attachment simultaneously draws the protein-film layer from the surface, maintaining crystal-clear water clarity without a separate surface skimmer. The built-in water polishing pad, activated carbon basket, and customizable media basket allow you to stack multiple filtration stages. A unique self-priming design and built-in alarm notify you when the media basket needs cleaning before it becomes a bottleneck. Available for aquariums up to 55, 75, and 110 gallons.
