Sohal Tang (Acanthurus sohal)
Acanthurus sohal is widely considered the single most aggressive tang in the hobby, and it backs that reputation up with orange-edged tail spines sharp enough to draw blood through a net — a fish that should always go into a tank last, after every other resident has already staked its claim. Bold blue-and-black striping makes it one of the best-looking fish in the store, provided the stocking order is respected.
Care level: Moderate · Temperament: Aggressive · Max size: ~16" · Min tank: 180+ gal · Diet: Herbivore, algae + herbivore pellets
