Ultra Rock Flower Anemone (Phymanthus crucifer)
Rock flower anemones anchor a pedal disc into a crevice or sand pocket and, unlike their wandering cousins, actually tend to stay there — a real advantage if you've ever lost track of a bubble tip that decided your powerhead intake looked cozier than the rock you picked out for it. Color runs wild between individuals in this species, so a batch of "ultra" grade specimens rarely looks uniform, which is most of the appeal.
Care level: Easy · Light: Moderate · Flow: Low-moderate · Placement: Rock crevice or sand, tends to stay put
